Here's where you can submit a report!
Sometimes problems happen, and that's okay, but we can only fix issues if we know about them! That means bug reports from players are an important source of information for our team. But even bugs that seem simple on the surface can be complicated and require a lot of work once we get started, so here's are a few guidelines to help make your bug reports have a bigger impact.
- Be SPECIFIC. What exactly is the problem. We can't do anything with "I got a black screen", but we can investigate "I was trying to connect to a European server but my screen went black when I tried to join a game" or "I think someone called a meeting at the same time I killed a Crewmate, and the meeting screen bugged out".
- If possible, take screenshots or video to show us exactly what happened
- Describe in as much detail as possible how you found the bug. It's more important to talk about what you were doing before the bug happened than what happened after. That way, we can try to recreate the bug and learn more about what caused it.
- Describe what action you were specifically trying to take (e.g. create a room, host a room, join a game, what task you were doing, what button you were pressing, etc).
- Submit a bug report here and provide all relevant information, including your account ID, what platform you were playing on (Steam, Android, iOS, etc), and what version of the game you have installed.
Once you submit the report, one of our support agents will reach out to you to discuss the error. They may ask for more information to help figure out the problem or let you know that we're already working on a solution. Please be patient! Squishing bugs takes a lot of work, but we promise we'll get to it as soon as we can.
How to find Player Logs (PC only)
We may ask you for your player log for further details to get this:
1. Open up your game and recreate whatever problem you have -- do NOT close the game. Instead, please send us you player log while the game is open and after whatever bug happens.
2. To find the right file, put %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us in an explorer browser and find the file Player.log (sometimes it's displayed without the .log part, so a file just named Player is also good)
3. Send that file to us by submitting a bug report.
