Sometimes players may have an issue logging into their account that appears as a "Friendcode Fail" error, like the one you can see below.
If you see this error, it means that something is happening that is preventing you from fully logging into the game. Your account data is fine! But until whatever issue is preventing you resolves, you won't be able to access your account.
This error can be caused by a lot of different things! Please try these steps to see if you can fix the error yourself
- Close and restart your game. The error may have been a one off problem.
- Switch to a stronger internet connection. If your connection is poor or has dropped data, that may have disrupted the login process.
- Update your game. If you haven't played in a while, you may be running into an error we've already fixed. Never hurts to try!
- Update your device. Players on older versions of some operating systems may face compatibility errors. In particular, players on Android OS 7 and below are much more likely to experience login errors. If you're on Android, please try to update your device to AT LEAST OS 7.1.1, as that seems to clear these errors for most players. If you're on Android and are unable to update your OS, hold tight while we work on a solution (but it might take some time to sort out)!
