We take the safety of all our players seriously. In compliance with COPPA, Child Users will first be subject to a parental notice and consent process prior to activation of their account.
This is operated by Kids Web Services, a service used by many other popular online games. If you'd like to learn more, you can check out our Privacy Policy as well as the Kids Web Services Privacy Policy.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help guide you through the process quickly and easily!
1. To initiate the registration and consent process for a Child User, we collect a parent or legal guardian’s email address. If there is a Child Account, this will pop up automatically.
2. Input the desired email and hit "Send". After a minute, an email from Kids Web Services should be in your inbox requesting permissions for the associated Child Account. Follow the instructions in it to verify your identity.
If you have questions or concerns about the verification process, the email will have detailed information or you can read more about why Among Us is asking for this information here.
3. The light on the top left of your menu will now be cyan, indicating that the account is awaiting permissions.
4. You can click the My Account button if you need to edit or resend the email.
5. After you have verified the Child Account, you can pick and choose which permissions it has on the Innersloth Parent Portal. These permissions can be changed at any time.
And that's it! If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us.
